A spam banning frenzy is in full effect – DE-EVO-lution rules the day. Now, it’s more essential than ever to run away form serving up junk and instead concentrating on building quality real content websites!
Oh no! The human reviewer has your internet page within their hot little hands and is going to read your words and look over your web site! Sounds like I am talking about the DMOZ Open Directory or perhaps the Yahoo Directory, having said that i am speaking about Google and Yahoo!
It’s no secret, Google, Yahoo and even MSN are banning websites in record numbers and it’s not just with the help of filters and algorhythms. Within their quest to offer merely the best good quality search engine results for their visitors, the major search engines are adopting directory-like human reviewing techniques!
Search engine listings have employees whose primary job is to surf the web searching for spam and for them to push some control and ban every web site they come across that they feel should NOT be on the first page.
Mainly in the top with their lists for human review are internet sites which get complaints (usually AdSense type sites) alerted by web forms on the search engine listings that permit do-gooder surfers to simply report web sites and point in their mind as spammers. Many people even volunteer to rat on spam sites. And in case that’s not enough, you will find a good possibility your competition will put your sites from the ringer and if they uncover any spamliness they will rat you out.
Actually, it’s most likely that it must be competition that is certainly fingering the websites to obtain banned as they may be angry at losing the top position to some competing marketer. The only real solution is to play through the rules! Wait – you will find no published rules… just a mantra saying do no evil…
But how about the people who make websites with good intentions? They’re not evil. They just don’t keep up to date on all the top talk about this sort if thing and they also make a few mistakes like repeating keywords excessively.
And SEO aka Search Engine Optimization – I recieve the feeling which they (Google) think this is EVIL. SEO optimizes pages for better rankings. We need to not accomplish that – should we
Well – it’s not immoral or unethical so I’ll increase up against the big G and say YES we should do those activities… but we have to bear in mind that some human reviewer may not agree with us and push the button and banish us! Ouch! That hurts!
It’s just not safe to employ borderline techniques nowadays. Overly hyped up pages with too many ads or JUST AdSense may appear to be strictly commercial. That by itself will not be bad, nevertheless they want encyclopedias to rank on top too. Not just commercial pages.
This is because really pretty obvious by trying to find out things through the search engine’s perspective.
What’s happening is that there are numerous billions of webpages available that the search engines are experiencing a harder and harder time of indexing and cataloging all of the webpages their crawlers are spidering. Combine the massive growth of the internet using the proliferation of webmaster software that can build 1000s of junk pages in the push of the mouse, and you’ve got a bulging inventory of webpages.
Those machine generated junk pages are clogging the hard drives and servers of search engines like google.
The thing is that those who are the customers of the major search engines, happen to be complaining quite vocally that too many web pages that appear on the first page of the search results are nothing but web pages with links with other website pages. Junk directories with scraped search engine results. Made for AdSense (MFA) sites that want nothing more than an advert click.
You know what I’m referring to. Quite simply, the automated within your face commercial junk is making it unpleasant and often challenging for the search engine customers to discover real content web pages.
So… to have their customers from looking elsewhere, all the search engines like google are now aggressively blacklisting garbage internet sites and removing them using their indexes.
Webmasters beware, the search engines are cleaning house and the free ride is over. This means that the zillions of machine generated junk pages, that have become an epidemic, can no more make webmasters money like they employed to, if kdrevv money in any way.
There exists a better way though, plus it actually features a long term profit stream attached…. real content internet sites! Yes, why not build internet sites with real content that can last the exam of your time? Why build junk sites which will bite the dust when you can invest some time on stuff that last? That’s the ticket! Build sites that last!
